Designing and Managing National Climate Finance Vehicles

Please provide an overview of how national climate finance vehicles (to mobilise, coordinate, allocate, monitor and account for climate finance) have been organised, including: how they have been defined and what missions, guiding principles, or mandates they have been given; how they have been structured, implementation and fiduciary management arrangements; how (and from where) they raise funds; how they manage and account for funds; and what governance and oversight arrangements have been used.

What recommendations have been made in the literature regarding how the model for national climate finance vehicles ought to be adopted, designed, and approaches to rolling out of such vehicles in light of capacity considerations? Any risks and political economy issues to consider?
